Holy crap, a tattoo!

Here is something I never, ever, ever imagined finding in the strange wake of publishing my children’s book, Zorgamazoo: Somebody liked it so much, THEY GOT A TATTOO OF THE MAIN CHARACTER! ON THEIR ARM! DID I MENTION THAT THIS IS A TATTOO WE’RE TALKING ABOUT?!

Check it out:

Katrina Katrellโ€”in freakin' tattoo form, yo.

I have only one word for this: GAH!

Now, here’s the thing. I don’t have any tattoos. I don’t have any plan to get a tattoo (I don’t think my skin could hack it; I’m a terribly sensitive soul, I’m afraid). But would that it were…would that it were…this is the kind of thing I might consider. Mighty handsome.

Thanks to Caitlyn for letting me know about this surprising turn of events and even bigger thanks to her friend, Katie, owner of the arm in question. Thank you, Katie, you not only made my day, but paid my odd little book a (very, very) rare compliment. Yay!

Feel free to share...

7 THOUGHTS TO " Holy crap, a tattoo! "

  1. Phew! When I saw the title of this post, I thought for a minute you were going to tell us you woke up in a strange place, with a tattoo in a strange place. Glad to know that’s not the case!

And Katrina Katrell exists in tattoo form – HOW FRICKIN’ AWESOME! That is just SO very cool. Congrats! May the compliments continue to flow!

Holy crap, indeed! That’s totally awesome! ๐Ÿ˜€ I now officially have a competitor for ‘craziest thing done by a ZMZ fan’…haha!

  3. Amy Doran says:

My 10 yr old daughter just finished Zorgamazoo. She has written you a letter, but we cannot find an address to send it to. If we mail it to the publisher, will you recieve it? She’s never been so excited about a book! Thank you for inspiring a child who doesn’t usually care much to read!
