Book Trailer for Prince Puggly of Spud and the Kingdom of Spiff (with lemmings)

Okay. So, yes. Technically, I’m a bit late with this. Prince Puggly of Spud and the Kingdom of Spiff was published waaaay back in February and it’s now December. That’s ten months too late for a book trailer to adequately serve its purpose, but hey…better late than never, right? Right?

In any case, here’s a little…ahem…”book trailer” for a book I published nearly a year ago. But seriously, who’s counting? (Me, apparently. cf. the previous paragraph, the “ten months” bit.)

On the upside, this video has lemmings. How can you not love lemmings?

Just a short note to congratulate you for writing such a fine book as Prince Puggly and to also tell you that it has been”short listed” for the Maryland Black-eyed Susan award. I am on the reviewing committee and will be rooting for it be on the final list of 10 titles. It is becoming harder to find age appropriate books for our 4-6th grade level and your book is perfect!! Please continue to write for these special kids!

    • Carole, thanks so much for writing. It’s always gratifying to know when your work finds an audience. And I’m honoured to hear it was considered for the Black-Eyed Susan (awards governed by librarians are particularly close to my heart). As for continuing to write verse-novels like Puggly and Zorgamazoo, all I can say is that they are slow to write, but I’m always working on a new one in the background. In any case, fear not: I’m committed to producing more…eventually!
